Week 4: RSS Feeds & Newsreaders
The RSS feeds is a great idea...I have never subscribed to a newsreader before, it definitly makes sense. A big time saver for folks that check in with different sites to catch news of interest each day. This would be a great tool to use with students..maybe as amorning class exercise? The class could decide which news to feed..maybe follow one theme for a week.

Hurrah! You are blogging classroom ideas! My heart is swelling... I like that idea too - it has so many aspects beyond the simple current events. You have the tech piece, they learn about discerning what is dependable news, they even get to discover that they like different styles of reporting if you switch around enough...
I like your ideas for using an RSS feed in the classroom. It's always a struggle to find new creative ways to get students engaged in a topic -- without cutting into critical content time.
